International Dance Day 2012
Over 60 students from Redcar Community College, Sacred Heart, Ryehills and Bydales School took part in the 2012 International Dance Day performances. This year we had seven performances in three days! The students performed a range of different styles of dance, from popping to contemporary.

Secret Flash Mob Surprises Students
On Monday 23rd April the unsuspecting students of RCC were treated to an unexpected performance at break time. There were 60 students and 10 members of staff who took part in the secret Flash Mob to celebrate the beginning of International Dance Week at the school.

Move It 2012
On March 8th 2012, 10 dance students and 2 members of staff from RCC headed down to London for a trip of a lifetime. They were all to experience for the first time Billy Elliot the Musical and the Move it 2012 Dance Festival. Some of the student had never been to the Capital City before so it was going to be real unique experience for all. Read more

Read2Dogs – Look North Broadcast
Students in Year 7 were extremely excited to find out they were to take part in the Read2Dogs programme. Students in this group started working with Audrey in January.
